Olympic Soccer: France/USA Today, A Gold Medal Match Preview?

Hi there, London Summer Olympics. We’ve been waiting for you.  We’ve already begun our on-going coverge of the Games. And even though we’re still more than 48 hours away from the Opening Ceremonies, you technically get underway this afternoon with preliminary games in the women’s soccer tournament. It’s one of the events I am looking forward to the most, so it seems like as good a time as any to finally get this toast off my chest: To the smattering of people stumbling into the JCB each week via various search incarnations of Gaetane Thinney Nude and Louisa Necib Naked Shots, thank you for your primal, devoted and detective ways. I know from our site analytics that a few of you even stuck around and perused the site. In fact, I see a few familiar faces out there lurking, so welcome back. Lets, as the kids say now these days, have a real good time. I bring good news to get us started: Thinney, Necib and the rest of the Les Blues babes are all back for this event and kickoff at high noon with a grudge match against the Americans, who derailed their world cup ride a year ago and really one of the only teams to have beaten them in the last

Euro 2012: Previewing Spain-Italy Final

Sunday’s final: Spain vs. Italy – 2:45 p.m. Spain (+110), Italy (+260), Draw (+240) The final for the 2012 European Championship will be a rematch between Italy and Spain. Spain will be gunning for history, looking to become the first team to win three straight major tournaments. On the other side, Italy will be playing for its first Euro title since 1968 (although it has won two World Cups since then). The pair drew 1-1 in their Group C opener, a result that provided different reactions among fanbases. Italians were excited that their new possession-based style modeled after Spain proved to be a rousing success, as the Azzurri more than held their own. The aura of Spanish invincibility was knocked down a peg, although they have yet to lose on their way to the final. La Roja rebounded with a resounding 4-0 win over Ireland, but the offensive issues returned in a last-minute 1-0 win over Croatia. Spain met France in the quarterfinals and completely overwhelmed the French offense with a 2-0 victory. An early goal allowed Spain to go into an even-more-defensive mode, and France could muster nothing offensively, recording just four shots, one of which was on goal. A late penalty kick goal

Euro 2012: Previewing Germany-Italy

Thursday’s game: Germany vs. Italy – 2:45 p.m. ET Germany (-130), Italy (+400), Draw (+250) The second semifinal for Euro 2012 is going to result in the first loss for either Germany or Italy. The winner will face Spain for the right to be named the best in Europe. Germany came in as a favorite to reach the final, although they haven’t won a major tournament since 1996. They plowed through the Group of Death and their first knockout game without a loss nor draw, looking as powerful as ever. The Germans opened the tournament with a 1-0 win over Portugal, although the goal came late and the Portuguese held their own. This turned out to be a sign of things to come, as Portugal has reached the semifinals before falling in penalty kicks. In the second match, the Germans dominated and downed the rival Dutch with a 2-1 victory. In the final group stage match, a goal in the 80th minute secured their third straight win, this time over Denmark. They thoroughly crushed Greece in the quarterfinals, although a late penalty kick made the 4-2 final more respectable. Mario Gomez entered the semifinal round with three goals, tied for the tournament lead. The decision
