Three to Watch: Week Two

Three to Watch is back for Week Three and hoping you didn’t forget to watch the big game last night just because we didn’t tell you to catch it. If you missed LSU’s win last night, don’t make the same mistake with Boise State at Toledo tonight at 8 et on ESPN. The Rockets almost beat Ohio State last week, so we’ll see how Boise State does at the Glass Bowl. Of course, there are great games involving Florida teams this week, but steering clear of the great State of Florida, let’s focus on three other great ones. Washington at Nebraska, 3:30 et ABC/ESPN– Nebraska was less than impressive last week against Fresno State, but the Bulldogs like to play the big boys tough early in the season. Look for Taylor Martinez and the Huskers to fire back this week. Washington seems like an intimidating opponent after that weak performance, but the Huskies have squeaked out a couple of tight ones against less-than teams in Eastern Washington and Hawaii (sorry Seth). Sophomore QB Keith Price has been impressive this year though and can keep Washington in it if they fall behind. Michigan State at Notre Dame, 3:30 et NBC– Will the Irish start off 0-3?

Pick-4, Week 3: Can The Irish Keep Pumping Out Fantasy Stats?

Before getting to our Pick-4 props this week, we need to apologize on the technical gaffes the contest is having. We’re having a hard time building the standings, but we’re almost positive this will get resolved over the weekend. Everyone involved with the blog is just a little winded from the all-day, all-night affair that was last weekend’s Michigan-Notre Dame game. So, we’re behind, but the standings will be up. Sorry. But, its not stopping our fun with the season or this contest. Once again, we had a prop that we almost nailed dead on. We set the Trent Richardson rushing prop at 112.5 yards. He ended with 111 yards. Hope that cheers up all the Penn State fans out there, at least you kept the Tide’s stud back from hitting the over! Anyway, on to this week’s props which we culled from the Auburn/Clemson, Michigan State/Notre Dame, Florida State/Oklahoma and Stanford/Arizona games. Cheers, and good luck. You’ll need it. I’ve gone 3-1 both weeks and got this whole contest down, fools……. Onterio McCalebb/Michael Dyer Combined Rushing Yards: O/U 130.5 yards…..You know you’re going to check into this southern showdown nooner. How could you not?  Auburn is involved. That bird might crash into something again.
