Wedne$day Hoop$ Pick$

So we went 1-1 yesterday with Florida breaking our hearts and Marquette providing an easy win. I dont why I trusted Florida. They have been big game poor ever since Noah, Horford and Brewer left town. And it showed last night. Anyway, I promised picks earlier today and with the 7:00 games tipping off in an half hour, I had better deliver some. Here goes:

Charlotte +8.5 over Rhode Island, 1 Unit…….Neither team is playing well, but both will play desperate in this bubble game. I’m taking the points because its late in the year and thats when the Rams usually choke.

Kansas State +8 over Kansas, 1 Unit…..i dont think the Wildcats are all that overmatched. I think they the push the Jawhawks all the way in this one. I dont think they get blown out, so I’ll take my chances they can keep it under this number.

Georgia +8 over Kentucky, 1 Unit…..I guess I cant quit the fiesty Georgia Bulldogs. Regular readers know they’ve become a favorite play of ours here at the JCB and that its churned out muy profitable results. All told, the Dogs are now 15-5 ATS in their last 20 years. Of course, they dont actually win a lot of games, so there season will likely end next week. But, I am pumped to see this team play next week in the SEC Tournament. Sadly, they would get UK in their second game, but otherwise they’ve beaten everyone else thats projected to be on that side of the bracket. But, that’s next week. Tonight, I’ll take the team thats had some quality wins on their home floor against a Cat team that might not be taking them too seriously.

Three picks for the night. We’re taking it easy. It will get crazy around here the next dozen days or so. No need to spend it all tonight.
